Home Services is a GO-TO company. Please let us know what kind of GO-TO help you will need so that we can provide it for you. 

WHO ARE THE HOME SERVICES STAFF?

The Home Services staff with a fabulous small group of dedicated sitters, cleaner(many still work with us today!). Throughout the months, we’ve kept our team happy and we’re proud to have each one of them in our team.

HOW DO I KNOW THAT I AM GETTING A GOOD, SAFE AND QUALIFIED STAFF?

The Home services staff have the experiences and are passionate. Most of the staff are from Aupair. They are specialized in Norwegian families. Please be as detailed as possible in your request so that we can make the best possible match.

CAN I MEET THE STAFF PRIOR TO MY SCHEDULED RESERVATION?

You are welcome to schedule a reservation to meet our staff. 

WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE THE TIME OF THE RESERVATION OR WE ARE RUNNING LATE?

All reservations must be changed or modified with at least 6-8 hours notice and are based on availability. 

WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION?

CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION POLICY

The first hour of service is charged upon confirmation and is not refundable and not transferable. We strictly enforce a 6-8 hrs cancellation and modification policy for all standard reservations. 

DO I NEED TO KNOW THE EXACT TIMES FOR MY RESERVATION?

We will need the exact start and end time for your reservation to confirm your reservation. Home services take reservations based on the hours. 

To make changes to the start time: Call the contact person.

To make changes to the end time (prior to the reservation): Call the contact person.

To make changes to the end time (once the reservation has started): Call the contact person directly to stay later and the staff availability will depend on their schedule.

WHAT IF I WANT TO EXTEND MY RESERVATION?

Once your reservation has begun and our staff  in your home and you would like to extend your session, you may contact the contact person directly. Reservations may not exceed 12 hours. If your sitter is not able to accommodate your request or you are inquiring about a change prior to your services, please call  directly. 

CAN I REQUEST THE SAME PERSON EVERY TIME?

It is always our preference to book the same person. Please provide all of the dates and times with as much notice as possible so that the same persons can be arranged. We will do our best to choose a staff that generally has availability during those times however, we can never guarantee that the same staff  will always be available. We find it helpful for to meet 3-5 staff.

WHAT IF I ONLY NEED A HELP FOR AN HOUR OR TWO?

There is a 3-4  hours minimum for all our services. Home services can be booked in our representative personel services for a maximum of 12 hours (unless reservation is overnight). 

WHO I ALWAYS NEED TO BOOK HELP?

Reservations must be booked directly with Home Services contact person.  Home services staff respect their jobs, commitments, and agreements and we hope you will too.

HOW SHOULD I GIVE THE HOME SERVICES STAFF INSTRUCTIONS?

The staff will already have a description of your general expectations based on the information provided at the time of reservation. The staff will have a form for you to complete with your detailed expectations. It is also recommended to have your instructions and requests written or printed out for the staff prior to arrival. Please be detailed and remember that each family is different. We recommend scheduling the staff to arrive at least 15 minutes before you have to leave to review and familiarize the staff with your instructions.

IS THERE ANYTHING THAT THE STAFF CAN NOT DO?

Our staff is on the go. It is very important to inform us what kind of help you will need so we can assess you.

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

Home services is a registered company. We paid taxes and staff benefits. We send faktura at the end of the month.

WHAT IF MY CHILD WANTS TO HAVE A FRIEND OVER?

Please notify the Home Services contact person  if there will be more children in the home originally scheduled. We will need detailed information on all of the children present and emergency contact information.

WHAT IF MY CHILD IS SICK?

Home Services must be notified when a child is sick.  Staff will not administer medicine of any kind and can not supervise a child self administering medication.Please be upfront when booking your reservation so that we can provide the best possible care.
